Rocket seeds have arrived at Washacre!

Last week, special seeds that have been to the International Space Station arrived at school! British astronaut Tim Peake, who is currently on the ISS, set schools a challenge to grow seeds that have been to space to see if they will still grow after experiencing zero gravity for 6 months. Today, Year 4 have planted the seeds in preparation for a 5 week long experiment to see whether the seeds will germinate and grow. Keep an eye out for future posts to see how well the seeds are growing!

Welcome back!

We would like to welcome our children back to a new school year and a whole new classroom! Over the Summer, Washacre Primary School has had lots of renovation work to make it a bigger and brighter place to learn.

Here are some photos of the our Reception class in their new Reception classroom.
